On May 1, 2014, nearly 300 guests filled the elegant ballroom of the Madison Hotel for Morris Arts’ sixth annual Great Conversations and rediscovered the joy of face-to-face discussions on –with interesting, distinguished and accomplished individuals. Whether talking with Olympic champion ice skater, an international concert pianist, a Major League Baseball star, a prominent child psychiatrist and prizewinning poet, a world renowned oncologist, a NJ Congresswoman, a NY Times Deputy Foreign Editor, a prizewinning chef or HBO’s Executive Vice President for Program Planning & Strategy, guests were enthralled, intrigued and actively engaged in conversation throughout the evening. As if that were not enjoyment enough, guests were also treated to “dessert,” a terrific performance by jazz guitar legend Bucky Pizzarelli with rhythm guitarist/vocalist Ed Laub. It was a truly memorable and fascinating evening!
