Interested in an Artist Residency, but have a limited budget? School Grants are available up to $7,000.Application Deadline: Monday, February 1, 2016.School administrators, teachers, cultural arts representatives -join us November 18th from 10 – 12 pm for our Artist Residency Grant Workshop. Many of you are familiar with the Artist Residency programs available through Morris Arts but may not know about another statewide program for Artist Residencies available through the New Jersey State Council on the Arts in partnership with Young Audiences of New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. Join us to learn about these residency programs and the grants available to fund them. Learn about the grant writing process and meet the program administrators. These programs are available to ALL schools and students in Pre-K through 12th grade. Teachers who attend will receive NJDOE Professional Development credit hours.
Long Term Artist Residencies are offered in all disciplines including the visual, literary and performing arts. Artist Residencies can help your school fulfill its goals and objectives for student performance, professional development, and community-building in and through the arts.
