Michael Engel. PwC – Intelligent Process Automation Leader for Emerging Technologies; Advisor to the Institute for Robotic Process Automation
Pushing the limits of man/machine interaction for PwC and his clients and redefining how work gets done, Engel consults on practices in technology, outsourcing, and advisory, pursuing process automation at the confluence of all three disciplines. Passionate about automation, Engel serves in affinity groups/organizations, including as Adviser to the Institute for Robotic Process Automation, Future of Operations in the Robotics Age Council, and the IEEE RPA Standards Committee. In the evolution of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA), Engel and his expert team recognize multiple stages of the automation process, and provide critical insights/support for their clients’ efforts. For clients who recognize that IPA is more that building “bots,” Michael has devised an automation framework that considers new ways of delivering services in a “no-shore” model, how firms can manage this new workforce and how to balance a business-driven approach to automation with the rigors of a regulated industry. He also identifies automation opportunities at PwC, using next gen technology that can then be repurposed for use by his clients to transform their operations. When Engel isn’t thinking about process robots, he can generally be found either on bike, skis, or on his tractor practicing for his next career as farmer.

Aaron Price. CEO & Founder – Propelify (one of the country’s largest innovation communities) & NJ Tech Meetup; tech community expert for The White House (Obama Administration), Governor Phil Murphy and the WSJ
Price founded one of the country’s largest innovation communities, Propelify, a media/events company which empowers innovators to propel their ideas into action, providing tools, resources, and community, including the annual Propelify Innovation Festival which welcomes over 10,000 innovators to Hoboken, NJ.  Propelify was inspired by Price’s other focus, the award winning NJ Tech Meetup, the state’s largest technology and entrepreneurial community with over 6500 members. A serial entrepreneur, Price has founded multiple technology startups (deliverU, effordables, weCraft, and livecube) and served as the entrepreneur-in-residence at the NYC venture capital firm, DFJ Gotham. Clearly precocious, Price’s entrepreneurial endeavors began in high school, when he garnered a patent for a weight lifting device and then progressed to selling such varied items as carabiner keychains, motorized scooters, a Japanese “Pimp” watch, Harley Davidson motorcycle parts, a dental kit found at a dump, a fishing net dubbed “the inter-net” and more. He admits going an entire summer without brushing his teeth (early in life) yet still managing to get kissed randomly by Meredith Veira (later in life). Alternatively titled “Tech Support Guy For All My Relatives,” Price lives in Hoboken with his wife and the startups of which they are most proud, their two daughters.
