FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I become an Arts Council member?
We have many membership categories to choose from, including Individual membership, Arts Group membership, Artist Registry membership, School membership, and Corporate Support of the Arts.  Membership benefits include the quarterly Newsletter and Coming Attractions Arts Calendar featuring a comprehensive look at what's new in the arts in the Morris area, invitations to special events and activities including ACMA's Annual Meeting and Arts Awards Ceremony, Technical Assistance workshops and seminars.  Most of all, your support and participation in ACMA means we can bring more programs and services to artists, arts organizations, schools, and to the community!  Click on Membership for details!

How do I join the Artist Registry?
It's easy! Each registry member submits information to their file which they want included, ie: resumé, press releases, promotional materials, slides or tapes, etc., along with their annual contribution of $35, which helps us maintain the files and publicize the registry.  Information contained in each file is available for viewing, at no cost, to members of the community in search of an artist. Click on Individual Artist Services for details!

When does the Arts Council hold it's technical assistance and networking workshops for individual artists and arts organizations?
