The Arts Council of the Morris Area works closely with arts organizations in the greater Morris area as a collaborator, as the local arts service organization providing programs, technical assistance, and workshops, and as the re-granting agency in Morris County of funds from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.  Arts Group members of ACMA benefit by having their events and programs promoted in the quarterly Arts Calendar which is received by a wide readership along with the newsletter, Arts Matters,  Members' arts events are also included online in the On the Marquee Arts Calendar .  

In addition, the Arts Council of the Morris Area recognizes the artistic contributions of individuals and organizations at its annual Celebrate the Arts event. Awards are given to an outstanding Arts Advocate, Arts Organization, School/Arts Educator, Corporation, and Professional in the Arts.
