The Westfield Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of David Wroe, will present its season finale, the Joseph DeAlessandro Memorial Concert,featuring Copland’s Appalachian Spring and the Hoe-Down from Rodeo as well as Beethoven’s Mass in C, with the Pro Arte Chorale.
There will be a free pre-concert lecture at 6:15pm. The concert starts at 7pm.

On Wednesday May 23, Macculloch Hall Historical Museum is pleased to welcome speaker Bernard Olsen in conjunction with the museum’s current exhibit “Gone for a Soldier:” Jerseymen in the Civil War.
Mrs. Olsen will share a leture entitled “New Jersey’s Civil War Experience Letter & Journals of Members of the 13th & 14th Volunteers” – The story of New Jersey’s role in the Civil War through the letters of six soldiers from the 14th Regiment and journal entries from the 13th Regiment on Sherman’s March To The Sea.
Lecture begins at 7:00 pm, tickets are available at 6:30 pm
Adults $8, Seniors $6, Students over 12 $6. Members of the Museum receive $2 discount

One of Shakespeare’s most popular history plays, it introduces Prince Hal and the larger-than-life Sir John Flastaff at the height of his rowdy power. Associate Artistic Director, Joseph Discher, will direct the season opener where fact and fiction blend seamlessly under Shakespeare’s sure hand as he paints the portrait of a young price’s reformation and ascent to manhood.
