These women business leaders have all earned their stripes. All from different industries and backgrounds, each has a fascinating story to tell. Choose one to dine with and be inspired by:

Izzy Martins, Avis Budget Group – Chief Financial Officer, Americas
Izzy has been with the Avis Budget Group and Cendant finance teams for over a decade.  Currently, she oversees financial planning and analysis, shared services, insurance, properties, licensee relations, and the contact support center.  As a collaborative oriented leader, she energizes multi-functional teams to achieve exceptional results.  Izzy excelled over her ten-year career with Avis Budget Group including serving as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer for over three years through mid-2014 and Head of Tax for over four years through 2010.  Prior to joining Avis Budget Group, formerly Cendant, in November 2004 as Director of tax planning and M&A, Izzy was associated with Deloitte, where she focused on strategic tax reviews for seven years.  Izzy earned a B.S. in Accounting and J.D. from Seton Hall University.

Maria Castañón Moats, PwC – US & Mexico Assurance Leader
Her mother’s words, “It doesn’t cost us anything to dream, so let’s dream big,” inspired Maria, the daughter of immigrants from Chihuahua, Mexico to become the first college graduate in her family. Moving from her family roots in Texas to New York, this first generation Latina professional became PwC’s Chief Diversity Officer, implementing firm-wide unconscious bias training and advocating for increased mentorship and sponsorship of female talent at the firm. A member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting, Maria has served as both the Chair and a Board Member of the March of Dimes in Northern New Jersey and currently serves as a Board Member of DonorsChoose. In 2016, she was appointed PwC’s Assurance Leader for the US and Mexico, serving as a member of the PwC U.S. Leadership Team and the Global Assurance Executive Leadership Team. She currently lives in the New York area with her family, but there’s nothing she loves more than spending time with her extended family (she has three siblings, 14 aunts and uncles, over 40 cousins, and too many second cousins to count) back in El Paso.

Dana Peters, Mondelēz International – VP USA Operations, Biscuit & Confectionary
Dana Peters is a travel, football, cooking, and baking enthusiast.  Her job at Mondelēz International, where she serves as Vice President USA Operations, gives her the opportunity to pursue her passion of baking by leading all of the bakeries in USA and Mexico producing iconic brands like OREO, Ritz, and Chips Ahoy!  It also has afforded her the chance to travel the world, working in both Research and Development and Supply Chain in Latin America and living in Europe for five years.  Dana has moved 11 times in her career with Mondelēz International, so her love of travel is always fulfilled. As a graduate of the University of Illinois in Microbiology, Dana is a strong Midwesterner, even a shareholder of the Green Bay Packers, her favorite football team!  Dana married her college sweetheart, also a Midwesterner, and has two children ages 14 and 15, who love to sample the products Dana makes.
