Morris Arts – Arts in Education Showcase

This free, “not to be missed” event is a rare opportunity to preview over 15 exceptional programs in a variety of art forms including dance, music, theatre, storytelling and the visual arts. These programs are all available for school and community presentations during the 2019-2020 school year. Each performer or group will “showcase” highlights from their full-length programs allowing you to preview over 15 performances. Our artists and performers come from far and wide for this event to give schools and their representatives the opportunity to see first-hand what these programs are all about.

Arrive at 9:00 am for registration, coffee and networking. Our program begins at 9:15 and continues throughout the day with back-to-back performances. Light refreshments will be served at intermission and there will be “meet and greet” with artists at the conclusion of the day. In addition to previewing the programs, this event is also great for networking with other schools, comparing notes and meeting with the artists. While some of the presentations are performance based, we will also be presenting information about our specialized workshops and artist residency programs.

There is free parking on the campus for this event and there will be signs for parking as well as assistance from campus security if you need directions.

This event is free and open to all schools. Schools who support our work through the $50. annual membership will receive discounts on some programs and will also receive priority booking for any free programs that may be available. Schools participating in 2019 – 2020 Morris Arts – Artist Residency Programs automatically become member schools for that year. Click here to see if your school is a member school.
