For the first time, this electronic version of our latest newsletter, ARTS MATTERS offers video links to enhance the stories and information with personal accounts by artists and organizations connected to Morris Arts. You will find details on the reopening of the Atrium Gallery and virtual access to the outstanding African-American exhibit there, Dream With Your Eyes Open, with a video sharing personal comments  by co-curator, Lauren Craig. You can see and purchase artworks by “visiting” the virtual gallery of the Gallery at 14 Maple’s exhibit, Vanishing Worlds.  You can also read about and enjoy firsthand videos shared by artists such as soprano Chelsea Friedlander, guitar great Frank Vignola, Bobby Murdock and Lee Scott Howard, co-founders of the British Invasion Years Band, and by Paul Rabinowitz, Executive Director of Arts by The People. Additionally, the newsletter includes links to regularly updated resources in Arts Education and for Artists/Arts Organizations, designed to assist artists and their efforts throughout the pandemic. Finally, there are links to updates and information about our postponed or cancelled spring and summer events such as Great Conversations, Giralda Music & Arts Festival, Music Beyond Borders and Meet Me in Morristown .
