Morris ARTS FEST: Outdoor Fine Art, Crafts and Live Music at Lewis Morris Park

On Saturday, September 12 (raindate: Sunday, September 13), 2020, from 3-7pm, in collaboration with the Morris County Park Commission, Morris Arts will present Morris Arts Fest, an outdoor festival featuring an art exhibit and sale of works by Morris County area visual artists and crafters, along with live music at the Sugarloaf section of Lewis Morris County Park, Mendham Rd., Morristown.

Forty three visual artists and crafters, working in a wide variety of media including pottery, origami, oils, acrylics, watercolors, printmaking, fiber art, sculpture, pen and ink, photography, cartooning, collage, jewelry, decorative accessories, chalk, ceramics and stoneware will showcase and sell their works in the park that day.  Featured artists include: Jennifer Amorese, Ingo Appel, Raphaela Athayde, Jean Best, Annette Bradley, Vanessa Burkly, Lucia Burrafato, Mark Buryk, Alex Cavaliere, Jessica Cavaliere, Vanessa Crespi, Peter Donahue, Patrick Gallagher, Jeff Gould, Tünde Hagymásy, John Hedges, Jeffrey Jebara, Neely Katz, Itoko Kobayashi, Michael Krasowitz, Linda Lang,  Caroline Lifshey, Amanda Matos, Natalie Maus, Bernard Maxim, Kim Ohara, Julia O’Neill,  Natalia Pas, Tracy Pollock, David Ramos, Dylan Richtarek, Robert (Eddie) Rios, Jenny Ruiz, Lizzy Synalovski, Jennifer Thompson, Maya Tillman,  Rebecca Tsien, Alexander Vargas, Shreenie Vasan, Ilana Visotsky, Konstantin Zingerman, and Andrew Zuluaga.

Live music will also enliven the event. Attendees can hear Gwendolyn Fitz, a jazz-pop singer-songwriter with folk influences (imagine if Nora Jones played the ukulele) and the band, Secret Sound, which mixes funky blues and rock and includes Kevin Hill (guitar/vocals), Adam Alexander (drums), Dave Ferraro (bass), Bob Larsen (percussion) and Andy Feldman (keyboard).
