11th Annual Pumpkin Illumination

Pumpkin Illumination 2020

In 2019, we celebrated the 10th year of Pumpkin Illumination, an event that has been bringing families together for an evening of frightfully delightful fall fun since its inception in 2010. In October 2019, families and their creatively carved pumpkins descended on the historic Vail Mansion in Morristown for a fun, family-friendly, eventful evening  including seasonal arts and crafts, live jazz, a luminary mask parade led by artist Dan Fenelon, and of course, brightly glowing pumpkins, lit at dusk by the reflecting pool, creating an amazing illumination!

This year, due to COVID-19, we are not able to host an in-person Pumpkin Illumination event, but we are still determined to celebrate Halloween in the spirit of our annual Pumpkin Illumination. Artist Dan Fenelon of Core Creative Academy will host a series of workshops for children and their families to bring the spirit of Pumpkin Illumination into our community’s homes.

If you attend one of our workshops, we highly encourage you to post a photo or short video of your creations on social media and tag us @morrisartsnj, so we can share them in our Pumpkin Illumination Celebration video to be released the week of Halloween!

The MOST spooktacular creation will win a PRIZE!

We are offering three free virtual Pumpkin Illumination workshops:
