Carlos Rodriguez, Community FoodBank of New Jersey – President and CEO
A recognized voice against hunger and addressing the needs of the working poor, Carlos devoted twenty-two years to improving policies and delivering services to all in need. A South Bronx native, he has an in-depth understanding of poverty and a profound appreciation of the impact of human service. Currently, his focus is on bringing individuals, corporations, community groups, and government together towards a better future for the 1.2 million New Jerseyans  who struggle with hunger. He works to simultaneously increase distribution of nutritious food while helping to address the root causes of hunger and connect working poor families with resources to help them earn a sustainable living. Carlos holds an MS in Urban Policy and Not-for-Profit Management (Milano Graduate School, New School), a BA in Sociology (College of the Holy Cross) and a Not-for-Profit accounting certificate (NYU). Previously Executive Director of Fulfill, he has also held high-level positions at the Food Bank For NYC, the Children’s Defense Fund of NY, the Community Food Resource Center, served on various community advisory boards/ strategic planning committees and as Treasurer of the Eastern Region of Food Banks. Married, with two terrific sons, Carlos enjoys coaching the boys’ soccer teams, watching soccer, cooking and eating healthy. 

 

 

 

 

Richard Constable, Madison Square Garden Entertainment – EVP, Government Affairs and Social Impact
Rich serves as MSG Entertainment’s chief strategist overseeing all legislative, community, diversity and inclusion initiatives across the Company’s portfolio, including venues, entertainment properties, dining and nightlife offerings, and a music festival. He focuses on strengthening MSG Entertainment’s relationships with governments and communities the Company serves while expanding its venue portfolio, including building future state-of-the-art MSG Sphere venues in Las Vegas and London. Rich also leads governmental and corporate social responsibility matters relating to MSG Sports, which became a standalone company in April 2020, and whose assets feature the New York Knicks (NBA) and New York Rangers (NHL) franchises. Prior to MSG, Rich was a senior executive at the Wyndham Worldwide Corporation, and served as Commissioner of the NJ Department of Community Affairs where he played a critical role managing the state’s post-Hurricane Sandy recovery and rebuilding efforts. Prior to service in state government, Rich was a federal prosecutor. He serves on the boards of the MSG Relief Fund, Garden of Dreams Foundation, Dance Theater of Harlem and Seton Hall Prep. Rich earned his BA in Political Science from the University of Michigan, and his JD and Master of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania.
