Nicole’s 27 year career in insurance took her from Canada, to the UK, and, eventually, to the U.S. She started her career straight out of the University of Waterloo, Canada (Bachelor of Mathematics, Actuarial Science Major) into Fairfax Financial Holdings, and then into Crum & Forster. Her roles in IT, Operations, Underwriting, Organizational Design, HR, company culture, strategic management, and Chief of Staff, all led up to her current role as CEO of Pethealth Inc. Pethealth business lines include shelter management software, RFID microchip identification, lost pet recovery services, medical insurance for pets, and VioVet, one of the UK’s largest online veterinary supply retailers. A foodie who loves to entertain for holidays or just regular weekends, Nicole will always host a crowd. Travel is another love. A street food tour in Vietnam, a favorite, combined both! Nicole now calls New Jersey home with her husband, son and daughter. Don’t forget Cooper, the family’s crazy yellow lab. Since COVID has squelched any travel plans and big-crowd gatherings, Nicole is left with her tried and true hobby that never disappoints, taking Cooper on hikes in the area where he can also enjoy a long swim!
